The Classifications of Locks

Locks, as the name suggests, need to be opened. It is a loyal guardian and an indispensable commodity in modern home decoration. In the past, it played a negligible role in the beauty of the living room, and did not arouse too much attention from users. With the continuous development of society, people's requirements for the beauty of decoration are also increasing day by day. People’s requirements on the function, style and appearance of locks have also undergone qualitative changes.

From the early padlocks, marbles locks and cam locks we knew, we have developed to the card code locks, magnetic card locks, electronic code locks, IC card locks, computer networking locks, and fingerprint locks in the cutting-edge fields. In the trend school, there are two major schools: Europe school and Asia school.

Here are the Classifications of Locks as Follows

1. Padlocks

It is divided into copper padlocks, iron padlocks and password padlocks. The main specifications are 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 75mm.

2. Bucket Locks

It is divided into copper, copper, aluminum core and left and right cabinet locks. Its main specifications are φ 22.5MM and 16mm.

3. Bullet door Locks

It is divided into single safety door locks, double safety door locks, three safety door locks and multi safety door locks. Its main brands are "Niutou" and "Shuanggou", "Ma Pai" and "Fengshou" made in Shanghai, China.

4. Plug Core Locks

It is also known as anti-theft door locks. It is divided into steel door plug-in door locks and wood door plug-in door locks. The steel door plug-in door lock mainly includes two brands: "Shenshi" and "Ma Pai" among them.

5. Ball Type Door Locks

It is divided into copper type ball type door locks and three tube type ball type door locks as well as compartment locks.

6. Decor Locks

It is divided into glass locks, plug locks, button locks, electrical box switch locks and chain locks, rotary tongue locks, etc.

7. Electric Control Locks

Magnetic card locks, IC card locks and password locks.

8. Handle locks.

9. Ship locks and car locks.

According to the application of the lock, locks can be classified into the following types

1. Door Locks

It is also known as anti-theft locks. The entrance door is the gate of every family and the watershed outside the home. It must have a special function, that is, it can play the role of insurance and security. There are usually two doors to enter the house: an iron door and a main door (usually wooden doors). The iron doors whose two sides can be locked, is commonly known as double locks. There are usually multiple safety door locks and plug-in steel door locks. The distance between the two doors should not be less than 80mm (8cm). Otherwise, the distance between the two doors (because of the handle of the lock) is not long enough to close at the same time, which can not play the role of anti-theft. The main wooden door is generally installed with a large hand lock, which can play a beautiful role.

2. Room Locks

It generally refers to the bedroom lock. It has the safety function in the room. We use the key to open the handle lock or the ball lock with the same function outside the room.

3. Bathroom Door Locks

It can lock the door inside with emergency opening device on the outside and with red and green display, small handle lock with "manned" and "unmanned" display or ball lock with the same function.

4. Kitchen and Passageway Locks

It just acts as the function of door handle and windproof function with no insurance function. It is also suitable for storage and children's rooms.

According to the production process, the locks can be divided into the types as follows

1. Brass can be made into AC, AB, Pb, BN ball locks. 
2. Stainless steel can be made into SS PS ball locks
3. Red copper SB cloth hemp wheel polishing and closing.
4. Log and beech.

Materials used for lock production: brass, red copper, stainless steel, beech, log, marble and iron. Sheet, steel plate, zinc alloy and aluminum are used as internal materials.
